EvaNuWeb, online nutritional assessment software
Assess nutritional status across the whole life course in seconds: enter the patient's data and get the diagnosis and a technical PDF report, with the WHO growth standards and the Chilean MINSAL cut-off points already built in.
What EvaNuWeb does
The whole process, from working out the exact age and placing the patient in the right reference table to classifying the result and estimating requirements, happens on a single screen. No printed chart to look up, no separate spreadsheet.
Every assessment stays in the patient's record, and the history is plotted on the reference curve so you can compare one check-up with the last. The report comes out as a PDF with your letterhead and signature block, ready to print or email.
It opens in the browser, from the consulting-room computer, a tablet or a phone. Nothing is installed.
Who it is for
- Dietitians in private practice and in primary care.
- Doctors and other health professionals who assess nutritional status.
- Professionals who provide nutritional advice online.
- Nutrition and Dietetics schools, with student accounts and lecturer supervision.
Main features
Pregnancy
From gestational weeks, weight and height it gives the nutritional status against the Chilean MINSAL cut-off points, the acceptable weight range, the expected weight gain and the energy, protein, calcium and iron requirements.
Preterm infants
Assessment by corrected gestational age: weight, height and head circumference against the reference that matches the weeks at birth, with a follow-up chart.
Children under 5
Weight, height and indices against the WHO standards used by MINSAL, distinguishing whether length was measured lying down or standing.
Ages 5 to 19
BMI and height for age against the WHO reference, using the exact age between the date of birth and the date of measurement. Includes the Tanner scale.
Adults and older adults
BMI, nutritional diagnosis and an estimate of total energy expenditure by activity level, with the cut-off points specific to older adults.
Down syndrome
Specific curves for children with Down syndrome: their weight, height and head circumference are not read against the general population tables.

Frequently asked questions
Which references does EvaNuWeb use?
The technical standards in force from the Chilean Ministry of Health and the WHO growth standards, plus specific curves for Down syndrome and corrected gestational age for preterm infants.
What does the patient get?
A technical PDF report with the diagnosis, the requirements and the reference used, carrying your letterhead. You can print it or email it from the system itself.
Can I try it?
Yes. At evanuweb.nutrysoft.com you can request a professional demo or a demo for lecturers.
Is it useful outside Chile?
It uses WHO references that are valid internationally, and professionals in other Latin American countries use it. If you work outside Chile, write to us and we will look at your case.
How is it different from the free calculators on this site?
The calculators solve one calculation at a time and store nothing. EvaNuWeb brings all the modules together, keeps each patient's record and history, and produces the PDF report.
What about EvaNu, the desktop version?
Desktop EvaNu is no longer supplied or renewed: anyone using it keeps it until their licence expires, and we help them move their patients to EvaNuWeb.
