Where does the data come from?

From FoodData Central, the food composition database of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service.

What are the FDC ID and the NDB Number?

The FDC ID is the FoodData Central identifier, from the database that replaced the older USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference (SR) around 2019. The NDB Number is the identifier from that older, now discontinued database.

Does it include Chilean foods?

No: it is the USDA table. For planning with the Chilean INTA table, use MinutaVirtual.
